The International Symposium on Metal Processing (ISMP) is initiated by The Chinese Society for Metals (CSM), The Nonferrous Metals Society of China (Nfsoc) and Northeastern University (NEU). The aim of this symposium is to provide a platform for the academia, researchers and engineers all around the world to exchange state-of-the-art development and information on issues related to metal processing, and promote the fundamental study and process innovation in the fields of metal processing.
The first symposium will be held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China on October 19-21, 2021. ISMP2021 aims at examining the key aspects involved in TMP: phase transformations, complex microstructures evolution, applications in CSP/ESP, in-line heat treatments, measurement techniques and the technological forming operations (rolling, forging, extrusion etc.).
Due to the present situation of COVID-19, the format of presentation for ISMP2021 will be mainly on-site communication combined with on-line presentation (by VCR) from the overseas speakers who are not possible for international travel in the period of ISMP2021.
