Serhii Yershov

Prof. Serhii Yershov was born in Ukraine in October 1972, and obtained his doctorate degree (Ph.D) in materials processing from the Dniprodzerzhynsk State Technical University, Ukraine in 2004, then he became an academician of Ukrainian Academy of Science. He was a professor and director of metal processing in Dniprodzerzhynsk State Technical University. In 2017, he was elected to the 13th batch of national “Thousand Talents Plan”. Now he is a distinguished professor of Wuhan University of Science and Technology.
The research areas for Prof. Serhii Yershov cover high quality steel rolling technology theory, deformation theory, recrystallization in rolling process, rolling technology, plate shape control and surface quality control, etc. and has hosted more than 10 projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Ukraine, the Ministry of Education of the Ukraine and Enterprise. Prof. Serhii Yershov has published 2 books and more than 100 papers.
